Lauren is a Search Angel and Intake Specialist. Her interest in genetic genealogy began with her own journey of searching for her biological father. She dove into this mystery head first and immersed herself into the word of genealogy. She was determined to gain as much knowledge as she could and she quickly learned the science behind genetic genealogy, and familiarized herself with all the tools and research methods she could. After solving her own case, this sparked a passion in her to want to help others discover their biological truth. She then began volunteering at DNAngels as an Intake Specialist and Researcher, which led to her becoming a Search Angel. As an NPE herself, Lauren has made it her mission to provide individuals with answers to their biological truth, as well as provide support to them throughout their journey. Lauren is a born and raised Texan and she lives with her husband and children. She has a degree in Computer Science and in her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with family, watching true crime documentaries, and doing research in her own family tree.
