
Tammy is an Intake Specialist. She hails from Eastern Kentucky but currently resides on the west side of the state. She came to DNAngels first as a client and then became an Intake Specialist to help others identify their genealogical truths. Tammy has worked in medical technology and microbiology, but her current passion – besides DNAngels – is working with a wolf and wolf/dog sanctuary to help wolves from all over the country identify a home on 300 acres of land, as well as helping arrange volunteer transports for Australian Shepherds on their way to their new homes.
Tammy and her husband have three adult children and three grandchildren and three standard poodles. She also has three older brothers, and one sister and there are 3 years between her and the next oldest child in her family. It was always suspected that the man on Tammy’s birth certificate might not be her biological father, but it was never suspected that it was the husband of her mother’s best friend, although she admits that her baby pictures hung on the walls in his house. Three things you should know about Tammy are that she loves to bake decadent desserts, she talks on the phone to her granddaughter every day and she loves bright, cheerful colors.
Tammy believes that everyone has the right to know their biological truth, and has referred many people to DNAngels since identifing out her own, she identifys being an intake specialist rewarding and challenging. Maybe she’ll be your Intake Specialist and start you on your journey!
